FilmParties no matter big or small have some common features - stars turn up late, the speeches are long and there is an excess of self-praise all around, also an eternal chaos around the bar.
But the bash thrown by Sony Music for the launch of Dil Kya Kare at the Leela Kempenski , Mumbai was a refreshing exception. With almost clockwork precision the evenets unfolded, short speeches by Vijay Singh of Sony and Ajay Devgan . There was a massive cake which the DKK Team cut!
Apart from Ajay there was his father Veeru, Jatin-Lalit and the crowd stunner Kajol . She oozed in a formal black dress and a diamond studded necklace. In fact ,Ajay and Kajol looked the perfect ,made for each other couple!

There was a lot of speculation regarding the end of Kajol’s
film career when news of her marriage to her longtime beau Ajay Devgun was broken in the
media. But so far that speculation has not come true.
Ajay Devgun’s home production Dil Kya Kare is ready for launch. Dil Kya Kare is Ajay
and Kajol’s first movie as a pair after their marriage.
The music album of this film has already been launched and is a runaway success.
Dil Kya Kare is a triangular love story. Ajay Devgun and Kajol are in the lead. The film
also has the glamorous Mahima Chaudhari, who completes the love triangle. It may be
recalled that Mahima became popular after debut in Subhash Ghai’s Pardes. But her
career did not take off from there.
Fresh songs set to same old tunes - Ajay

Dil Kya Kare’s music album has been released. Some songs are
good but the music directors Jatin and Lalit have yet to learn the basic lessons. They are
popular music directors, but it is difficult to understand why they keep repeating the
same tunes.
The title song Dil Kya Kare is pleasing. It’s sweet and the singers Udit Narayan and
Alka Yagnik are at their best. Do Dilon Ki is also a good song with a fresh tune. In this
song, Anuradha Paudwal pairs with Udit Narayan.
The Punjabi number in this album is above average. But the
children’s numbers in this album are disappointing. Badal Bijli (Abhijeet and
Children) and Monday Bhi Ho Sunday (Abhijeet, Kavita, and Children) fail to make much of
an impression. Kavita’s potential could have been used in a much better way.
The album ends with its best and sweetest song. Alka Yagnik is simply superb in the sweet
and simple Pyar Ke Liye. This pleasant song has some terrific Anand Bakshi lyrics.
This album is for the type of person that loves listening to love songs shown in numerous
film countdowns and promotions
